Parc du Portugal for the Radio Taxi Night On Earth programme

A one hour long field recording at Parc du Portugal, St-Laurent St., Montréal Canada, early morning Saturday 9 April (2:46 AM – 3:46 AM).
The sign at the entrance says:
“Parc du Portugal”
“En homage à la communauté d’origine portugaise implantée à proximité”
“Ville de Montréal”
“entretien 872-3434”
“Accès interdit de 0h à 6h”
Apparently, the prohibited-access sign did not intimidate lovers, friends, passers-by, local drunkards, angry fence-kickers and a certain composer from entering the park and enjoying the company of the trees,
the benches, and an out of place microphone hooked to a bag - an item that caused quite a bit of surprise from the jolly drunkards and culminated in a close-encounter of the “Halo” kind.
